The distributor has secured new international deals for titles including Totally Spies!, Once Upon a Time…, Stan & Gran, Moominvalley and Piripenguins.
Banijay Kids & Family has announced a new slate of international distribution agreements for several of its flagship intellectual properties, underscoring the sustained global demand for its portfolio of kids and family content.
Among the key deals, the Once Upon a Time… franchise has been licensed to AB Svensk Filmindustri for the Nordics, Mangas (Mediawan Thematics) for France and selected French-speaking territories, Studio Hayato in Taiwan, and TV5Monde across multiple territories.
Stan & Gran has also expanded its international footprint through new agreements with ViuTVsix in Hong Kong, HOP! in Israel, and YLE in Finland.
Meanwhile, Totally Spies! continues to broaden its global reach, with multiple seasons acquired by Kartoon Studios for the US and Canada, Studio Hayato in Taiwan, and TV5Monde for multiple territories.
Banijay Kids & Family’s third-party distribution catalogue also generated new business. Moominvalley was picked up by S4C in the UK, while Piripenguins will launch on ViuTVsix (Hong Kong), Mediacorp (Singapore), S4C (UK) and TG4/Cúla4 (Ireland).
The company also secured several inflight entertainment agreements. Once Upon a Time… was licensed to FVS Entertainment and Touch Inflight; Totally Spies! to FVS Entertainment and Aeroplay; and Moominvalley to Touch Inflight, Anuvu and Images In Motion.
