The format, already adapted in several territories, including Spain, will premiere this year in Brazil on GNT and Globoplay.
GNT announces Dog House Brazil, the format that matches rescued dogs with new families, hosted by Sabrina Sato.
A global success in countries like the UK, Australia, Spain, and Germany, the format arrives in Brazil later this year, with filming scheduled to begin in August, produced by Boxfish.
Beyond adoption, Dog House Brazil is a series about connection, affection, and transformation. Viewers will follow the journey of rescued dogs in search of their ideal family. A team of experts will connect the dogs’ stories with those of registered families, paving the way for an ideal match, full of responsibility and sincere effort to make everything work. And Sabrina will bring all her empathy, humor, and joy to present the stories!
“When I received the invitation to host the Brazilian version of Dog House, I felt an indescribable thrill. I’ve always believed that a pet has the power to transform a family, just as a family can transform their lives. It’s a show that touches you because it speaks of real encounters, second chances, and unconditional love,” said Sato.
In the Brazilian version, the host’s life also becomes part of the show. Throughout the episodes, viewers will follow Sabrina’s daily routine with her five dogs: Bupi, Maui, Coco, Lucky, and Belinha.
Dog House Brazil will air on GNT and Globoplay, produced by Boxfish, directed by Renato Simões, with content coordination by Mayara Terra and a script by Diego Tavares.
