At the 2026 Annecy International Animation Film Festival, the world’s largest and most important animation event, held annually in France, the company announced a content distribution agreement with Mediawan Kids & Family, the European animation giant that has produced titles such as The 3 Musketeers and Robin Hood: Mischief in Sherwood.
With this new agreement, The Little Prince and Friends joins the El Reino Infantil catalog, bringing one of the most beloved IPs across generations to the screens of the world’s number one Spanish-speaking community, boasting 240 million subscribers and over 8.8 billion views on YouTube as of 2026. The series will be available in both Spanish and English.
This strategic alliance between El Reino Infantil and Mediawan Kids & Family is a further step in deepening the collaborative work that both companies have been developing, which began with the co-production announcement of Wadoo in February 2026.
Wadoo is an animated comedy-adventure series for children aged 3 to 6, combining musical journeys in a magical world with humor, exploration, and lessons about empathy, teamwork, and love for nature. It will premiere globally next year.
The Little Prince and Friends is inspired by The Little Prince, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s masterpiece, published in 1943 and considered one of the greatest literary and intellectual treasures in history. More than just a children’s story, it represents an existential, philosophical, and ethical mirror that has taught multiple generations to rediscover what is truly essential in life.

Through this partnership, this adaptation for preschool children, based on the character from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s masterpiece, will be available in the United States and Latin America, with the exception of Brazil, as it joins the extensive catalog offered by El Reino Infantil’s YouTube network, a platform where it has built the world’s number one Spanish-language community.
In this innovative version of the classic, two children named Charlotte and Elijah embark on a cosmic journey of discovery alongside the Little Prince and his team, made up of the Fox and the Rose. The group will travel across the galaxy to experience incredible adventures where fun and camaraderie are always present.
