With shows already airing on multiple countries, the distributor is now seeking to expand its catalog of formats and dramas even further across the region.

Produced by Luis Cabrera, from Croatia

Known for creating content that can travel across the globe, Dori Media is now present at NEM Dubrovnik with a selection of productions suited for audiences in the CEE region, a territory that’s already familiar with several titles from the group’s successful catalog.

“This region, historically for us, has been big,” said Nadav Palti, CEO of Dori Media, in conversation with ttvnews at the event in Croatia. “Because we have our content that comes from Latin America and we’re still selling it here. It’s very impressive that we are selling this content produced in Latam and have been doing so for the last 20 years.”

“And the region is also buying more non-scripted content, which for us, is really great,” he added. “For example, our show Power Couple is present all over the region. In Hungary it’s on season 10, it’s in Bulgaria, in Norway on season 7, in Romania on season 4, and in Russia it’s on season 3 right now. So it’s all over the region.”

And to further expand the format’s presence, Dori Media is also presenting ¿Apostarías por mí?, the recently launched 24/7 version of Power Couple, produced by Fremantle Israel for TelevisaUnivision.

“We have a lot of expectations that the region will also move from the original version of Power Couple to this new one,” he said.

On the formats side, the executive also highlighted The Auction (La subasta), which “started in Latin America and is now moving to Europe. And hopefully we’ll start to do it also in Eastern Europe as well,” he said.

“We just closed a deal for Smart Face in Bulgaria,” he added. “It’s number one in ratings now, on Nova, beating the competition. As you know, it did great in Latin America, and now it’s having a come back in Latin America and Europe. It’s going to be in Brazil, and it’s airing successfully in Spain and Bulgaria…”

Dori Media is also presenting the global documentary series Seekers, which made its debut at L.A. Screenings. The series features a standout cast that includes Édgar Ramírez, Riley Keough and Jamie-Lynn Sigler among many others. Seekers is a six-part cinematic docuseries filmed across four different continents, which explores the depths of the human experience and the search for meaning. Created and directed by Gio Israel, it follows cultural figures, everyday heroes, and real seekers as they step into ancient healing traditions, sacred ceremonies, and deeply personal journeys through grief, identity, trauma, belonging, purpose, and the growing global mental health crisis.

“So, all in all, we have a lot of non-scripted that’s working very well in this region,” he said. “We have the historical content that we did in Latin America that continues to work very well, as well as drama and non-scripted. So the expectations are high, and we hope to sell a lot.”
