Nova, the Atresmedia channel, premiered its new prime-time drama, Cuento de una noche.

This passionate drama arrived on the women’s channel this week and will air every weekday night at 9:30 PM, after having been a hit in its country of origin since its premiere in September 2014.

The Turkish series is also already available on Atresplayer.

Distributed internationally by ATV Distribution as The Nightfall, the drama stars Su Burcu Yagzi Coskun and Burak Deniz.

The impossible love between its characters, Mahir and Canfeza, will be the central theme of the series. The plot is rich with the romance and tradition that characterize Turkish series and have made them an international benchmark for fiction.

The cast is rounded out by Georgian actor Gürkan Uygun as the main antagonist, and Turkish actors Emel Çölgeçen, Rüçhan Çaliskur, Ozlem Türkad, and Kerem Arslanoğlu.

The clash of cultures, justice, and tradition are the main themes that drive the entire story, which unfolds following an unsolved crime and an unexpected encounter between the protagonists. The course of their relationship will be shaped by family secrets and the wounds of the past. The Nightfall boasts visually stunning scenery, with the Turkish landscapes of Pamukkale and the city of Istanbul as its main attractions.
