The premium series I Am Mother, Golden Boy, and Cennet are part of the agreement.
Eccho Rights has secured a new round of sales for its premium Turkish drama slate across Central and Eastern Europe, underlining the region’s continued enthusiasm for high end scripted series from Turkey.
The latest deals include:
I Am Mother (produced by O3 Medya for Show TV) to Hungary’s MTVA and Georgia’s IMEDI – a gripping emotional drama about a woman forced to rebuild her life and reclaim her identity after devastating betrayal.
Golden Boy (OGM Pictures for Star TV) to Slovakia’s Voyo – a ratings phenomenon following a reckless young heir whose life is upended by an arranged marriage.
Cennet (Surec Film for ATV) to Ukraine’s Bigudi – a classic melodrama centred on a young woman abandoned at birth who returns to confront the powerful family that cast her aside.
Berkin Nalbantli, Sales Executive for CEE and Africa at Eccho Rights, said:
“These series each tell a very different story, but they share the same emotional core that CEE audiences respond to so strongly — complex characters navigating betrayal, identity and resilience. Themes like these cut across borders, and right now buyers in the region are very clear about what they are looking for. Turkish drama continues to deliver it.”
The agreements highlight the ongoing demand for Turkish primetime storytelling across CEE, where broadcasters continue to rely on strong character driven dramas to anchor their schedules.
