Duda Perman, the Turkish distributor’s Sales Manager for Latin America, spoke with ttvnews at Content Americas, where they continue to promote their latest hit, Sins & Roses, and have already secured its first sale in the region.

First presented to the market at Mipcom last year and then again to Latam buyers at MIP Cancun, Sins & Roses is undoubtedly the star of Kanal D’s current catalog of Turkish dramas.
The story has already captivated Turkish audiences, where it continues to achieve high ratings with each episode. “We’re leading every Saturday and are in the top 3 for the entire week. Some days we’ve already reached double digits, averaging 7.5, which is very good for a local production competing with such strong shows,” said Duda Perman, Sales Manager for Latin America at Kanal D International, in an interview with ttvnews.
And with this momentum, it’s no surprise that the drama arrived at Content Americas in Miami and landed its first sale in Latin America.
“We have great news,” the executive revealed. “We closed the sale of Sins & Roses in Panama to Medcom. We’re very happy. These are channels where we’re sure it will be number one. We don’t know when it will premiere, but we know they’re clients who run good promotional campaigns and will treat our production very well.”

“It’s a title that has all the characteristics of a classic story, elements that really grab your attention. It’s a woman’s betrayal, when traditionally it’s the man who does it. The woman is empowered, and that’s something we’re not used to seeing. And the little girl is one of the most beloved characters in the story. It’s a story that’s going to travel quite a bit; it’s very international,” predicted Perman.
“When we showed it at Mipcom, we only had two episodes done, but we launched it for the international market along with its actors. And at Mip Cancun, we were able to talk and negotiate with clients. And now, with the first 15 episodes that we’re already dubbing into Spanish, there are more opportunities. Every client we’ve shown the title to has loved it,” she revealed.
Sins & Roses stars internationally acclaimed actor Murat Yıldırım (Ramo, Aziz, Rebellious) as Serhat and beloved actress Cemre Baysel (Twist of Fate, Lost in Love, Leyla) as Zeynep.
Synopsis:
