The South Korean distributor is readying Spanish-dubbed versions of its dramas The Practical Guide to Love (TVING) and Our Universe (Studio Dragon), to facilitate their expansion in the region.
South Korea’s CJ ENM announced it is betting on Latin America and dubbing two of its newest K-dramas into Spanish.
The group will be presenting Spanish-dubbed versions of the dramas The Practical Guide to Love (TVING) and Our Universe (Studio Dragon).
The Practical Guide to Love is a rom-com, written by Lee Yi-jin and directed by Lee Jae-hun, starring So Ui-yeong, Tae-seop and Ji-su. It follows a single woman on the blind dating scene.
Our Universe is produced by Studio Dragon, written by Soo Jin and directed by Lee Hyun Suk. Starring Roh Jeong-eui and Bae In-hyuk, it revolves around future in-laws who are joined together by a family tragedy.
“With these new titles, we are excited to connect with Latin American viewers through stories that are universally relatable and localized through Spanish dubbing, enhancing accessibility and the overall viewing experience,” said Sebastian Kim, head of CJ ENM’s Content Distribution Business Unit.
The new strategy will be unveiled at the upcoming Content Americas 2026 in Miami.
