Only a few creators could be selected to reinvent a sample of Banijay Entertainment’s iconic French entertainment formats.
Banijay France, part of Banijay Entertainment, in partnership with YouTube, today reveals the standout French creators selected for its industry-first initiative, Creators Lab. Launched first by the business in France, the initiative is designed to bridge the gap between creators and creatives.
Launching in June 2025, the premier edition of Creators Lab drew hundreds of vibrant applications, but only a few creators could be selected to reinvent a sample of Banijay Entertainment’s iconic French entertainment formats. With competition tough, each was picked for their originality, distinct voices, and ability to reimagine the IP for new audiences.
Each creator receives up to €50,000 for the development and production of their pilot and is supported by Banijay France’s leading creatives and producers, alongside strategic coaching from YouTube to maximise the projects’ impact and audience engagement. The finalist creators are as follows:
Valise & Caramel are reinventing Minute to Win It (Banijay Production Media)
SparkDise is reimagining 1ère Compagnie (Endemol France)
Louise Aubery (MyBetterSelf) is taking on Got to Dance (DMLS TV)
Noa Dorian is revisiting Dilemme (B Prod)
Alexia Laroche-Joubert, CEO Banijay France says: “In line with the spirit of Banijay Entertainment, we have always been at the forefront of creative entrepreneurialism in France, a shared ambition with YouTube. The Creators Lab unites complementary expertise – creators discover the art of premium storytelling and production know-how, while our teams draw inspiration from their spontaneity, speed, and direct connection to audiences. From the start, our ambition was to create an initiative that worked both ways; listening, collaborating, and creating the trust needed to push boundaries without losing the essence of our formats. We look forward to sharing the projects that reflect this shared energy and boldness.”
Justine Ryst, Managing Director, YouTube France and Southern Europe adds: “This programme perfectly reflects the growing synergies between our industries, where YouTube and TV production can use one another, inventing new forms of storytelling tailored to digital behaviours. We can no long treat these worlds as separate. It’s exciting to see a major player like Banijay Entertainment fully embrace the creator economy, putting the strength of its expertise at the service of creators.”
The Creators Lab offers creators a unique opportunity to experiment boldly and help shape the next wave of entertainment, while opening new pathways across the wider creative ecosystem. Additional territories are set to join the initiative in the coming months.
