The executive revealed that Animotion Media Group is currently seeking co-producers, funding, and international partners to move forward with the production and distribution of the project.

During Mipcom 2025, Sandra Lanc, Head of Business Development at Animotion Media Group, introduced Shooting Stars, a new animated series blending action, friendship, and sports, inspired by the global rise of women’s soccer.
Shooting Stars follows the story of five girls passionate about soccer who, beyond sharing their love for the sport, must team up to face monsters from a parallel dimension and save the world. “It’s a series about friendship, teamwork, and female strength,” explained Lanc during her interview with ttvnews. “Women’s soccer is experiencing an incredible boom, and we wanted to capture that spirit in a fun and empowering story,” she added.
Lanc also revealed that Animotion Media Group is seeking co-producers, funding, and international partners to bring the project to life and expand its distribution reach.
Based in Abu Dhabi (UAE), Animotion Media Group specializes in content creation, IP development, 360° brand building, and global distribution.
