TelevisaUnivision announced today the highly anticipated premiere date for its new primetime survival competition, El Conquistador: Supervivencia Extrema, and its exclusive companion docu-reality, Luna de Miel Extrema. The intense survival competition, hosted by newlyweds Julián Gil and Valeria Marín, is set to premiere on Monday, October 27 at 8 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. CT on UniMás in the U.S.
Filmed on the wild, untamed coast of the Dominican Republic, El Conquistador: Supervivencia Extrema, pushes contestants to their physical and mental limits. With a grand prize of $200,000, on the line, competitors will face grueling daily challenges, harsh natural environments, extreme weather conditions, food scarcity, and constant psychological tension. This reality show is a high-stakes battle defined by teamwork, intense rivalries, strategic gameplay, and a constant threat of elimination, offering a fresh twist on the internationally acclaimed format. Immediately following the broadcast of the main competition, the exclusive docu-reality ‘Luna de Miel Extrema’ will be available to stream on ViX on the same day Monday, October 27 in the U.S., Mexico, and most of Latin America.
Luna de Miel Extrema offers fans a never-before-seen look into the lives of hosts Julián Gil and Valeria Marín, as they celebrate their unique honeymoon while filming El Conquistador. Far from comfort and luxury, the docu-reality captures the couple’s intimate experience during the extreme conditions of the production. Dealing with mosquitoes, discomforts, long working hours, and wild nature, Luna de Miel Extrema opens the doors to their personal lives, sharing their particular perspective on the competition and revealing stories that go beyond the reality show itself.
El Conquistador: Supervivencia Extrema will also feature an exclusive sneak-peek, Travesía Cruda, a bold original digital-series that takes viewers deep inside the unforgiving ecosystem and intense mechanics of the most extreme Spanish-language reality show. Filmed in the untamed jungle of Los Haitises in the Dominican Republic and hosted by Arana Lemus, the series exposes the raw physical, emotional, and logistical challenges faced by contestants, captains, and crew alike.
