Mipcom Cannes and BrandStorytelling have announced that the flagship summit of brand-funded programming at the world’s largest B2B business marketplace for television and streaming content will be held in Cannes, France, in October.
Founded and led by producer, publisher, and media entrepreneur Rick Parkhill, BrandStorytelling has developed over the past decade to become the premier annual event supporting the growth and maturation of brand-funded programming in the U.S. and beyond.
The last of its ten editions, held in January as a Sundance Film Festival-sanctioned event, brought together in Park City, Utah, a community of more than 450 professionals from global brands (Ancestry, L’Oréal Paris, PepsiCo), platforms and producers (WBD, Meta, YouTube) and creators (Sean Evans, Rhett & Link) to present best case studies and storytelling strategies that drive brand affinity and growth.
The two-day summit jointly scheduled at the Palais des Festivals on Monday, October 13, and Tuesday, October 14, will also bring together brands, content creators, and TV creatives.
The goal is to nurture, produce, and finance new brand-driven stories through presentations, networking, and deal-making opportunities. More details about the summit will be announced in the coming weeks and months.
