The kids’ series will reach Mexico through Televisa and Brazil through Maxlog, while Discovery Kids will premiere the second season all across the region.
Superights announced multiple sales for the successful Pat the Dog series in the Latin America region.
For starters, Televisa in Mexico has secured free to air rights of Season 1 of the series (78×7’); a special marathon on Channel 5 on March 16th will be the premiere of the series, while the regular programming will start on March 30th at 8:00 am.
Licensing agent CPL will represent the brand in all Latin American countries, having already secured a deal for back to school 2020 with Brazilian company Maxlog.
Produced by Superprod in its studios in Paris and Angouleme (France) and Italian company Animoka, Pat the Dog has already been widely broadcasted in Latin American by Discovery Kids, who also already secured rights for upcoming Season 2.
Both Seasons of Pat the Dog have already been bought by the Warner Media group for its channels in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia and Disney for its channels in Spain, France, Netherlands, Russia and Germany.
In addition, PAT new adventures will also be on France Televisions, on RAI in Italy, Radio Canada in Canada, RTS in Switzerland, TV3 in Spain, VRT in Belgium, and on the Chinese VOD platform Mango Tv. The first season was also sold to YLE in Finland, MTVA in Hungary, Disney Channel in the United States.
