SkyShowtime has announced the cast of the upcoming SkyShowtime Original series Mamen Mayo, the service’s first locally commissioned original programming project in Spain.

The series stars lead actress Sílvia Abril (Padre no hay más que uno), along with Pablo Capuz (Merlí. Sapere aude), Mona Martínez (La novia gitana) and Clara Sans (Cardo).

Mamen Mayo combines comedy with family “drama”. Each episode will follow inheritance mediator Mamen Mayo and her team as she attempts to resolve the conflicts of interest within families entangled in inheritance disputes.

Sílvia Abril plays Mamen Mayo, an extremely intelligent inheritance mediator, who is at the pinnacle of her career, and leads the team at Mediaciones Mayo. Pablo Capuz plays David Faura, Mamen’s assistant at Mediaciones Mayo; Mona Martínez plays Sebastiana, an appraisal expert specialising in all types of properties; Clara Sans plays Clara Codina, a young lawyer.

Other cast members include Oscar de la Fuente, Francisco Reyes, Javier Pereira, and Toni Acosta as Rebeca Mayo, Mamen’s sister.
