The Globoplay Originals series is nominated to represent Brazil at the awards ceremony in Seoul on September 25.
Justice: Misconduct, a Globopay Originals series, was nominated for best series at the Seoul International Drama Awards. Since 2005, the event has promoted cultural exchange between more than 60 countries in an international award show featuring the best dramas in the world. The awards ceremony will take place in Seoul on September 25th.
The screenplay by Manuela Dias (A Mother’s Love), with artistic direction by Gustavo Fernández (Pantanal), competes with seven other productions: Another Love (Turkey), Blossoms Shanghai (China), In The Name of The Brother (China), Korea-Khitan War (South Korea), Red Roses (Turkey), Soul Daughters (Greece) and Wyfie (South Africa).
A Globoplay Originals series, Justice: Misconduct, follows four characters who end up in prison and, seven years later, leave jail and need to resume their lives in search of justice that goes beyond logic and judicial processes. The production is consolidated as an anthology series with the same structure and format as Justice: Life is not Fair, which was nominated for an International Emmy for Best Actress with Adriana Esteves and Best Dramatic Series, but with new characters.
The cast of Justice: Misconduct includes Paolla Oliveira (Edge of Desire), Juan Paiva (In Your Place), Murilo Benício (Pantanal), Marco Ricca (Orphans of a Nation), Belize Pombal (Rebirth), Nanda Costa (A Mothe’s Love), and Alice Wegmann (Rensga Hits), among others.
