During its broadcast, it maintained 41,4 points of share. It led in the 6 top regions in the country, consolidating its dominance in the programming slate.

Love of My Life, the new Caracol production that became this year’s most successful series so far, concluded its outstanding prime-time performance last night, reaching a share of 42,5 and rating points of 9,5, beating its direct competition.

During its broadcast, it maintained 41,4 points of share. It led in the 6 top regions in the country, consolidating its dominance in the programming slate, especially with the female audience and in the 40 and older crowd, where its advantage was vast, reaching peaks of 50% share. It additionally beat the three direct competitors scheduled by Caracol’s rivals in Colombia.

Caracol Television’s VP of International Business, Lisette Osorio, underscored that “Love of My Life is a bold bet at reviving classical drama, with a story that spans three generations and uses incredible locations and scenic vistas as backdrops. We’re pleased to see how it succeeded with audiences who demand the power and currency of love stories with happy endings. We know it will keep on breaking records in the international market.”

Love of My Life, with producer Asier Aguilar at the helm, was directed in the first phase by Mónica Botero and Johnny Hendrix Hinestroza and, in the second phase, by Luis Alberto Restrepo and Carlos Mario Urrea. Entirely shot in exteriors, the series uses the country’s stunning scenery and locations to recreate the universe of XIX-century cotton plantations, remaining faithful to the costume transitions that reflect each age (the 50s, 60s, and 70s) when the story takes place.

The cast of Love of My Life is led by top stars like María José Camacho, Paula Castaño, Ricardo Mejía, Sergio Herrera, Jair Romero, Maía Landaburu, Jairo Camargo, Luis Gerónimo Abreu, Modesto Lacén, and Jefferson Quiñones, to name a few.

The series promises to captivate global audiences with a thrilling story of forbidden love wrapped in melodrama. It also tackles class strife in the cotton mills, among the strings of power, betrayals, and revenge.
