Luciano Huck, Rosane Svartman, Lucas Paraizo, Nicolas Prattes, Ana Clara, Natuza Nery, Aline Midlej, and Andreia Sadi are some of the Globo stars who will be present on over 40 panels
Globo believes in the Brazilian audiovisual and invests on it. From the start. This historic partnership with the market sets the tone for Globo’s participation in Rio2C 2024. The company’s executives and stars will be present on more than 40 panels between the 4th and 9th of June, discussing the company’s operations and the power of partnerships in the development of our national market. With an annual investment of BRL $5 billion in content and technology, Globo is the largest Brazilian content producer and one of the largest investors in the sector. The company’s historical commitment to the market is reflected in technological and artistic innovation to enable creative projects of all sizes, on all platforms. All in order to deliver the best stories written and produced by and for Brazilians.
Globo’s main panel will be held on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 5th, at the Global Stage. At 5:30 p.m., the “Acontece Globo: A Commitment to Brazil” will gather Luciano Huck, Natalia Lara, Everaldo Marques, Kenya Sade, Nicolas Prattes, Ana Clara, and Rafael Portugal, in addition to executives Amauri Soares (executive director of TV Globo and Estúdios Globo), Manuel Belmar (director of Digital Productions and Paid Channels at Globo), and Manzar Feres (director of Integrated Advertising Business at Globo). On stage, besides presenting the great stories that will be told in the second half of the year on Globo’s platforms, they will discuss how to keep Brazilian production relevant in a scenario where people’s attention is ferociously fought over.
Another prominent panel will be “The TV of the Future: What Will It Be Like to Watch TV Tomorrow?”, on June 4th. A conversation about how new technologies will define TV consumption in the coming years. The speakers will be Leonora Bardini (head of Programming and Marketing at TV Globo), Ana Eliza Faria (senior manager of Regulatory and Telecom at Globo), and Leandro Gejfinbein (head of UX at Globo).
On June 7th, Leonora Bardini returns to Rio2C alongside Raphael Corrêa (head of Paid Entertainment and Journalism Channels) and Teresa Penna (head of Globoplay) for the session “30 Minutes with Globo”, in which they will present the strategies behind Globo’s platforms.
On the same day, the celebratory panel of 25 years of Globo Filmes will talk about diversity and representation as a means of transformation in cinema, with the participation of Simone Oliveira (leader of Globo Filmes), actresses Dira Paes, Bruna Linzmeyer, and Grace Passô, and director and screenwriter Jeferson De.
The presence of personalities such as Rosane Svartman, Lucas Paraizo, Manuela Dias, Natuza Nery, Marcela Ceribelli, Flavia Oliveira, Aline Midlej, Andreia Sadi, Carol Barcellos, Renata Mendonça, and Ana Thaís Matos, among others, is confirmed throughout the six days of Rio2C. The audience there will also have the opportunity to interact with the company’s brands through an on-site activation in a giant, personalized clapboard with the best of Globo content.
