This year, RCN arrived at LA Screenings armed with a catalog of new titles for the international market, led by three major productions.
“In this market, we are presenting Rojo carmesí, which is a telenovela that we have filming now and already on the air. It is one of our great primetime titles,” Alex Marin, director of RCN Distribution, began in dialogue with ttvnews.
“In addition, we have Rigo, the series about the life of cyclist Rigoberto Urán, which just ended on the channel and was the number one program for four months,” he added.
Completing the trio of new features, RCN is offering Ana de nadie, which premiered last year “with tremendous success,” Marín highlighted.
“Those are the three big titles we are selling right now, plus a couple of titles from last year like La tía Alison and Leandro Díaz,” he added.
“And of course, we have the premiere of Betty la fea, 20 years later,” said the executive. “We managed to get 100% of the original talent and create an extraordinary story of 10 episodes that will premiere now in July. It is a world premiere and for us it is an extreme pride to be the first product in Spanish that Amazon releases globally,” he concluded.
