Non-scripted entertainment is the jewel that 360 Powwow is polishing in 2024. With several projects already in the pipeline and others in development, 360 Powwow is consolidating the success trend for non-scripted content. Together with Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), they produced Juntos en Acción. With Onza Américas, they are bringing El Desafío and are preparing That’s my Jam and Let’s Make a Deal.

Regarding the company’s news about its participation in LA Screenings, we spoke with Alejandro Pimentel, 360 Powwow’s Director of Content Development and Production, who said big non-scripted entertainment franchises are trending. “In this sense, for the last few months, we have been working on That’s My Jam, a successful format that we are sure we will soon see in Latin America, and very soon, we will share with you the next home of Let’s Make a Deal, the historic format that is a guarantee of success,” he said.

Another format the company is bringing to LA Screenings is the one it developed together with Onza Americas: the successful Spanish format El Desafío, in which eight celebrities are challenged to overcome their own limits and fears by facing incredible challenges.

360 Powwow continues to strengthen its relationship with its clients and seeks to meet their needs, as was the case with Juntos en Acción, which it developed for WBD. “It was a very nice project, based on an original idea by Carlos Ponce. It is an innovative format for his area, mixing the world of renovations with the world of Foundations that impact society, allowing us to create a show of Renovations with a Cause. The basis of this show is the remodeling of a space that benefits the community. The emotional impact of knowing the stories of the people who work there and the beneficiaries,” said Pimentel.

According to Pimentel, the icing on the cake of this format is that it brings a celebrity in each episode, which makes the encounter between these two worlds possible. “Adamari López, Natalia Jiménez, David Chocarro, and Karla Monroig were the ones who made it possible for Carlos Ponce, Karina Banda, and the Juntos en Acción team to reach these Foundations.”

Regarding his fiction work, Pimentel indicated that they are working a lot in the Mexican market. “Mainly for platforms in a police and preparing a film in the romantic comedy genre, and, as you know, we are still working on the development of a second series with María Dueñas in co-production with Isla Audiovisual for ViX,” he said.

Amid a changing market, 360 Powwow focuses on understanding the content consumer. “Our work with Puerto Rican sexologist Alessandra Rampolla is concrete proof that we can work on 360 content that includes direct-to-consumer sales. In this sense, we will soon be ready to launch a comprehensive content platform related to sexual wellness,” he concluded.
