With almost twice as many Average Demand Expressions as its closest competitor, the original Disney+ series was the most demanded in the country, noth in the digital and linear fronts. Narcos and El corazón nunca se equivoca are the only Hispanic titles on Parrot Analytics rankings.
One of the most popular series internationally in the two months since its launch, The Mandalorian conquered another territory this week, crowning itself as the most demanded series in Mexico.
Analyzing the demand in the week of January 20-26, Parrot Analytics placed the Star Wars series first in both the digital and general rankings, with 18,249,264 Average Demand Expressions (ADE).
Second in both lists, with almost half of the ADE, Netflix’s hit series, The Witcher, registered 10,392,086 ADE.
On the digital side, Titans by DC Universe closes the podium with 8,742,729 ADE, followed by Netflix’s Stranger Things with 7,331,415 ADE and Star Wars: The Clone Wars by Disney + with 5,825,785 ADE.
In sixth place comes Sex Education from Netflix (5,429,008 ADE) followed in seventh place by the only Hispanic series on the list: Narcos, from Netflix, with 5,252,790 ADE.
The list is completed by Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (eighth place, 4,610,929 ADE), The Handmaid´s Tale by Hulu (ninth, 3,726,305 ADE) and Netflix’s You in tenth with 3,695,612 ADE.
Repeating the first two places, the general ranking’s podium is completed by Game of Thrones with 9,942,367 ADE, followed in fourth place by the only Hispanic series on the list: El corazón nunca se equivoca with 8,747,681 ADE.
In fifth place is Titans, followed by the animated series South Park with 8,398,186 ADE and Steven Universe with 8,263,859 ADE.
The animated trend continues in eighth place with Rick and Morty (8,127,944 ADE) and My Hero Academia in ninth place with 7,962,474 ADE.
The general ranking is completed by Vikings in last place with 7,784,639 ADE.
