US Spanish-language premium streaming service Pantaya, unveiled today the official trailer and key art of its upcoming Spanish Language Mexican crime-thriller Toda La Sangre.
The series will premiere with the first two episodes on Thursday, September 15 through Pantaya in the U.S., and Puerto Rico, and in Latin America on StarzPlay.
Toda La Sangre follows Casasola (Aarón Díaz), a tabloid reporter who joins forces with police lieutenant Edith Mondragón (Ana Brenda Contreras) and Elisa (Yoshira Escárrega), a local anthropologist with the aim of deciphering a series of murders that have shocked the country. Together they travel through Mexico City chasing a ritual murderer whose peculiarity is to recreate ancient Aztec sacrifices. The series is based on the best-selling novels by Mexican author Bernardo Esquinca.
The series stars Aarón Díaz (Quantico), Ana Brenda Contreras (Dynasty), Yoshira Escárrega (Here on Earth), Antonio Trejo Sánchez (Un Dia Para Vivir), Clementina Guadarrama (Roma), Cinthia Vázquez (Amar y Muete), Odiseo Bichir (La Doña) and Julio Casado (Malverde: El Santo Patrón).
Produced by Fremantle Mexico, the ten-episode series is developed and produced by Showrunner and Executive Producer Zasha Robles from Spiral International, the creator behind Emmy-winning series Falco. The series is directed by internationally acclaimed Directors Luis Prieto (White Lines) and Hari Sama (This Is Not Berlin) and written by Rodrigo Ordónez (Los elegidos), Santiago Rocagliolo (Sarita Colina), Natalia Mejia (Ingobernable) and Alejandro Gerber Bicecci (José José: El príncipe de la cancion).
Pantaya will premiere the first two episodes on Thursday, September 15, followed by a weekly episode every Thursday and the full season of ten episodes will be available to binge on Thursday, November 10.
