Netflix’s Spanish title, Elite, leads Parrot Analytics’ ranking of the most demanded digital series in the country, where Netflix regained its dominance and Argentine formats lead the general ranking.
Breaking with the trend in Latin America where Disney+ continues to dominate the rankings of most demanded digital series thanks to its original productions, Netflix managed to regain its leadership in Uruguay, where three of its productions dominate the podium.
For the week of June 21 to 27, the Parrot Analytics ranking of the most demanded digital series in the country is led by the Spanish fiction Elite, with 7.12 times more demand than the average series, followed in second and third place by Stranger Things (6.15 times more demand) and Cobra Kai (4.76 times more demand), all from Netflix.
Disney+, meanwhile, dominates the next three positions in the ranking, with The Mandalorian in fourth place (3.81x), WandaVision in fifth (3.63x) and Loki in sixth (3.3x).
HBO Max’s Friends: The Reunion stands in seventh place with 3.09 times more demand, Netflix’s Black Mirror in eighth with 2.35 times more demand, Disney+ The Falcon and the Winter Soldier in ninth with 2.09 times more demand and finally, Netflix’s Black Summer closes the list with 2 times more demand.
And while Spain leads the digital ranking, it is Argentina that leads the general list of most demanded series in Uruguay, thanks to ShowMatch, which ranked first with 11.7 times more demand, and El Payaso Plim Plim in third place with 10, 5 times more demand.
The second place was obtained by the children’s series PAW Patrol (11.71x), with Peppa Pig in fourth (10.27x), Masha and the bear in sixth (8.7x) and PJ Masks in eighth (7.97x).
