Calinos Entertainment celebrated its new season with an exclusive launch event in Cannes on October 13, the second day of Mipcom 2026, bringing together international business partners, industry professionals, and members of the press.

The event marked the official presentation of 21 new series added to the company’s distribution catalog, showcasing one of the strongest and most diverse slates in Calinos Entertainment’s history.

Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed an exclusive screening of highlights from the new lineup, featuring a wide range of productions from Türkiye and international markets.

The new slate includes two major Turkish productions, Love in the Ashes, produced by CNP Film and airing on Show TV, and Salted Love, produced by Poll Films and airing on Star TV. The company also introduced three Turkish limited series: Between the World and Us from MF Yapım, Runaway from Same Film and O3 Medya, and The Choice from OGM Pictures, alongside Violet, a new daily drama from Limon Film set to premiere on Show TV in November.

The company also highlighted the continued success of Deeply, one of the standout titles in its catalog. Following the success of its previous seasons, the series is now preparing for its fourth season, with both the third and fourth seasons set to be presented internationally next year. The series is also set to reach audiences on HBO Max Türkiye.

Highlighting the international scope of its new slate, Calinos Entertainment also presented 12 series from TIS Productions, one of Latin America’s leading production companies, alongside Tafi Viejo from Argentina’s Corralón Films and two Romanian series from DreamFilm Productions: ANA: You’re in My DNA and Love with Lavender Scent.

Calinos Entertainment has added Violet, a new Turkish daily drama produced by Limon Yapım, to its international distribution slate. The series is set to premiere on Show TV in Turkey in November 2026.

The company is introducing Violet to international buyers at Mipcom 2026, expanding its offering of Turkish dramas with a new story of love and family secrets.

The series stars Güz Bozkurt, known for her roles in Winds of Love and Envy, as Violet, alongside Batuhan Demir as Murat. It is directed by Fulya Yavuzoğlu and Ecem Tahtalıoğlu Pertez, and written by Baran Gündoğdu, Merve Balıkçı and Vural Balıkçı.

The series follows Violet and her younger siblings, Ali and Pelin, who lose their mother during a train journey. With nowhere else to go, the three siblings are taken to Sancar Farm, where their mother’s cousin Zehra welcomes them into her home. As they settle into their new surroundings, they soon discover that life at the farm is far from simple.

Violet finds herself falling for Murat, the wealthy and reserved owner of the farm. Their relationship faces strong opposition from his family, who cannot accept the idea of Murat falling in love with a young woman from a different background. As their feelings grow, family secrets and old conflicts begin to emerge, putting both their relationship and their new lives at risk.

Salted Love and Love in the Ashes headline Calinos Entertainment’s lineup at Mipcom 2026, driven by their ratings performance in Türkiye and the international appeal of their casts.

“We have a fully booked schedule for this market, with strong interest from buyers because Salted Love and Love in the Ashes are performing very well,” said Cristina Duffy, Sales Executive for Latin America at Calinos Entertainment, speaking with ttv.

Salted Love (Tuzlu Kahve), produced by Poll Films for Star TV, premiered in Türkiye on September 1 and stars Eda Ece and Buğra Gülsoy, alongside Şevval Sam, Nebahat Çehre, Binnur Kaya, Yasemin Ergene, Ceren Moray and Enis Arıkan.

“It has been a huge success from day one, ranking number one on Tuesdays against very strong competition. It features a cast that is very well known internationally, with major Turkish television stars, some of whom also starred in another of our series, Forbidden Fruit,” Duffy said.

The romantic comedy follows Derin, the heiress of a powerful Istanbul family, and Mehmet, who returns to Türkiye after spending several years abroad. Their paths cross amid long-standing family rivalries, secrets and conflicts.

“Turkish audiences have really embraced it because it reminds them of certain aspects of classic Turkish television, with special guest appearances in every episode. The story is also very entertaining because it moves away from the usual drama and suffering. There are three very powerful families who don’t get along, and the protagonists come from two rival families and fall in love,” she explained.

“The series has attracted international attention from the very beginning because Forbidden Fruit was sold to practically every country. Its six seasons made the actors very well known around the world. That, combined with the local success of Salted Love, is generating a lot of interest. We’re already dubbing the episodes into Spanish, and we believe we’ll have a good number of episodes available in Spanish by MIP Cancun,” she added.

Calinos’ other major title is Love in the Ashes (Sevdan Bir Ateş), produced by CNP Film for Show TV, which premiered on September 9 and is set against the landscapes of Cappadocia.

The drama stars Murat Ünalmış, internationally known for Bitter Lands and Gülcemal, and Özge Özacar, from One Love. The cast also includes young actress Beyza Karabacak, who plays Hüma.

The story follows Mirza and Leyla, whose wedding is interrupted by the bride’s mysterious disappearance. Seven years later, they meet again, triggering new family conflicts and revelations about the past.

“Love in the Ashes is more dramatic, with the traditional elements of a Turkish drama. It has a very well-known leading actor, a little girl who is stealing the show with her performance, and a lead actress who is also surprising audiences. The ratings have been fantastic, improving every week, with shares exceeding 30%,” Duffy highlighted.

“Calinos always looks for top-quality productions, and we work with production companies known for delivering them. These two series are great examples: they’re very well developed, feature star-studded casts and, in the case of Love in the Ashes, offer a location that is particularly attractive to Latin American audiences, such as Cappadocia,” she concluded.

Between the World and Us, produced by MF Yapım, became one of the most talked-about Turkish series following its release. The series stars Demet Özdemir alongside Buğra Gülsoy, Hafsanur Sancaktutan, Zerrin Tekindor, Melisa Döngel and Metin Akdülger.

The story follows İlkin and Tolga, whose passionate relationship begins to fall apart as distance grows between them. Determined to test her boyfriend’s feelings, İlkin creates a fake social media profile. When the game moves beyond the screen, she asks Sinem, an introverted employee at her magazine, to become the real-life face behind the account. Starring acclaimed actors Murat Ünalmış (Bitter Lands, Gülcemal) and Özge Özacar (One Love), Love in the Ashes delivered a remarkable ratings jump in its second week, while maintaining its #1 position across all audience categories. The second episode reached 7.42 in Total, 6.82 in AB and 7.88 in ABC1, marking an increase of 3.88 in Total, 4.58 in AB and 5.03 in ABC1 compared to its premiere and further strengthening the series’ standout performance in Türkiye.

Lynch follows funeral home owner Jerónimo Lynch, who agrees to fake his own death when faced with arrest. The plan soon turns into an unusual business, helping people in serious trouble stage their deaths, take on new identities and leave their old lives behind.

Created by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Juan José Campanella, The Envoys stars Miguel Ángel Silvestre and Luis Gerardo Méndez as two Vatican priests sent to investigate alleged miracles. The series won Gold for Best Drama and Silver for Best Screenplay at the 2022 New York Festivals TV & Film Awards.

Dark comedy Erre centers on Franco, a man trapped in the same routine until he is told he has only one month left to live. With nothing left to lose, he decides to stop following the rules and finally live life on his own terms.
