Netflix Sets Premiere Date for Rebelde Reboot

The teen phenomenon will return to the small screen 15 years after its finale.

Netflix announced that the first season of the new version of Rebelde will premiere on January 5, only on the platform.

The series is an adaptation of Rebelde Way, the intellectual property of Cris Morena Group and Dori Media Group that had its first version in Argentina (Azul TV, Channel 9, América TV), and which was later adapted by Pedro Damián under the name of Rebelde for Mexico (Televisa).

Along with the announcement of the release date, Netflix also published the first video clip with the introduction song of this series that returns to the screens after 15 years.

Rebelde will have a new cast, including Andrea Chaparro, Alejandro Puente, Selene, Sergio Mayer Mori, Azul Guaita, Franco Masini, Gigi Grigio and Jerónimo Cantillo, who interpret the iconic theme of the series.

The new series is a Propagate production for Netflix.
