The Netflix original series found a spot among the Top 10 most retweeted TV-related tweets worldwide this year. The list is led by Game of Thrones, while Disney dominated the movie ranking.

Joining the end-of-the-year rankings, Twitter revealed which were this year’s most retweeted tweets around the world.

In terms of entertainment, the platform presented the Top 10 for TV series and movies, revealing a few surprises.

The TV ranking features not one, but two Hispanic series -both by Netflix- among the most retweeted tweets of 2019: on the one hand, Spanish phenomenon Money Heist ranked in fourth place, while Colombian series Narcos ranked tenth.

The TV Top 10 is -unsurprisingly- led by Game of Thrones, thanks to thousands of tweets from fans unsatisfied with its last season, as well as the infamous Starbucks cup.

The podium is completed by Stranger Things and The SImpsons, while Grey’s Anatomy (fifth), Love Island (sixth), Catfish (seventh), Family Guy (eighth) and The Walking Dead (ninth) completed the list.

In terms of films, Disney was the clear ruler of the movie ranking, holding seven of the ten positions in the list of most retweeted tweets.

The list is led by The Avengers: Endgame, which also holds the title of being the most successful film of all time, grossing over US$ 2.7 billion in the worldwide box office.

Toy Story 4 follows in second place, with Joker (Warner Bros) completing the podium in third place.

Spider Man and The Lion King ranked fourth and fifth, respectively, while Japan’s Weathering to You landed in sixth place.

El ranking is completed by Captain Marvel (seventh), IT Chapter 2 (eighth), Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (ninth) and Frozen 2 (tenth).
