Inter Medya has announced that it has undertaken the international distribution of the new series Sevdam Karadeniz, produced by Mia Yapım -the powerhouse production company behind the global phenomenon Hercai- and set to broadcast on NOW in Turkey.
The series will be known internationally as Black Sea, My Love.
As one of the new season’s notable drama series, Black Sea, My Love will be introduced to international buyers and industry professionals by Inter Medya for the first time at Mipcom, taking place in Cannes from October 12–15, 2026.
Currently filming on location in Trabzon, the series is set against the distinctive scenery and traditions of the Black Sea region, centering on a longstanding rivalry between two local families.
The story of Black Sea, My Love unfolds around an old enmity: the past unfulfilled romance between the families’ senior figures, Hafize Alazlı (Ayşegül Günay) and Durali Yeniceli (Şerif Erol), sparks a renewed feud. Years later, this generational conflict drags their grandchildren, Kuzey (Erdem Adilce) and Zeyşan (Meltem Akçöl), into a forced marriage. Caught between hidden secrets, past grievances, and intense pressure, the young couple must make a crucial choice that will shape the future of both families.
Written by Özge Korkmaz and Yeşim Gülay, and directed by Aytaç Çiçek, the series features a stellar ensemble cast that brings together established names and dynamic rising stars. Alongside Ayşegül Günay, Şerif Erol, Erdem Adilce, and Meltem Akçöl, the cast also includes Deniz Hamzaoğlu and other prominent actors.
