The final episode of Telemundo’s super series ranked as the number one show, regardless of language, among adults 18 to 34.

The finale of the latest season of Telemundo’s hit Super Series El Señor de los Cielos ranked as the number 1 Spanish-language primetime program Friday night among adults 18-49 and adults 18-34, according to Nielsen.

The electrifying finale also ranked as the number 1 broadcast program in the country at 10:00pm among adults 18-34. Bolstered by the series finale, Telemundo ranked as the number 1 Spanish-language network in primetime among adults 18-49.

Featuring the return of a star-studded international cast that includes Matías Novoa, Carmen Aub, Robinson Díaz, Eduardo Santamarina, Ninel Conde, Iván Arana, and Isabella Castillo, the finale of the action-packed Super Series averaged 749,000 adults 18-49, 293,000 adults 18-34, and 1.3 million in total viewers.

The finale was also the number 1 most social Hispanic primetime series, according to Nielsen Social.

Locally, El Señor de los Cielos finale ranked Telemundo as the number 1 network in the 10:00pm hour regardless of language in Los Angeles, Miami, Houston & Denver among Adults 18-49 and additionally, the number 1 Spanish-language network in Orlando, Philadelphia, Boston & Atlanta.

Filmed in Mexico and Greece, the seventh chapter of the Emmy Award-Winning Franchise kicked off with the Casillas family fighting to bring back Aurelio (Rafael Amaya) from his coma before his enemies got to him, while also launching a daring rescue operation to free Amado (Novoa), who surrendered to the Mexican authorities to avoid being judged by the United States legal system.
