The group has finalized agreements with FABA and Tappi for the preschool series, bringing its characters into the realm of audio storytelling.

DeAPlaneta Entertainment continues to drive the expansion of Milo—a leading global preschool series—across various formats by bringing on new strategic partners in the audio storytelling space.

The company has secured agreements with FABA and Tappi that will bring the world of the lovable kitten to new audiences, creating moments of play and discovery beyond the screen.

FABA’s unique storytelling system—which combines audio-enabled characters, learning, and entertainment—will offer young children new stories to listen to and imagine, allowing them to continue discovering the wonderful world of vocations alongside their favorite characters.

Meanwhile, the agreement with Tappi will allow for the exploration of new ways to bring the adventures of Milo and his friends into the realm of interactive books. The Tappi Play concept combines physical books with an audio system that lets children listen to stories, music, and games as they explore the pages.

Gianluca Ferrara, Head of DeAPlaneta Italy and International Head of Toys, welcomed the new partnerships: “With FABA and Tappi, we are expanding the Milo universe into the growing world of screen-free audio experiences—a space particularly well-suited for preschoolers. Both partners bring innovative and complementary approaches: FABA through its audio storytelling ecosystem, and Tappi by combining traditional books with interactive audio. Together, these collaborations offer new ways for children to interact with Milo beyond the screen, while helping us further consolidate the brand’s presence across Europe and continue its expansion into North America.”

“We were immediately won over by the Milo character, and working with DeAPlaneta Entertainment to bring him to FABA felt like a natural fit. We firmly believe in this collaboration, as Milo perfectly embodies the spirit of our content lineup. Bringing such a beloved character into FABA’s screen-free audio world means offering children access to high-quality stories that spark their imaginations and take them on exciting adventures through listening,” said Sara Visentin, Chief Content Officer at FABA.

Nan Wang, co-founder of Tappi, adds: “We love how Milo inspires children to discover different professions and explore the world around them. We are thrilled to partner with Tappi to make those adventures even more interactive, playful, and fun.”

The agreement with FABA covers Italy, Ticino, Spain, and the Netherlands, while the collaboration with Tappi will span the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Both partnerships are part of DeAPlaneta Entertainment’s strategy to develop Milo as a cross-platform brand; its established global standing has generated great anticipation for the third season, set to premiere in 2027.

The DeAPlaneta Entertainment team will attend Milano Licensing Day on September 17 to present this new partnership, along with other updates regarding Milo and the various brands in its portfolio.
