Electric Robin, Banijay UK’s production company, produces Live Better for Less for seven European territories, with Spanish TV personality and designer Juan Avellaneda hosting the Spanish edition, set to premiere on Prime Video in September.
Banijay Entertainment has unveiled Live Better for Less, a new European lifestyle entertainment format produced by Electric Robin, Banijay UK’s production company, in collaboration with Vinted and WPP Media.
The series will launch simultaneously across seven European markets in September 2026, including Spain, where it will be available on Prime Video and hosted by designer and TV personality Juan Avellaneda.
The project comprises seven local versions of Live Better for Less, each consisting of 7 x 24-minute episodes, supported by a production and localization strategy designed to facilitate the format’s international rollout.
A lifestyle format about saving, smart spending and second-hand
Live Better for Less focuses on everyday challenges related to household finances and lifestyles: homes filled with unused belongings, limited budgets and goals that may seem out of reach.
In each episode, individuals and families examine their habits and lifestyles alongside local hosts and experts. The format then encourages them to sell and reuse items they already own, uncover hidden value in their belongings and make small but meaningful changes to improve their finances and everyday lives.
The format combines lifestyle entertainment and branded content around Vinted’s proposition of positioning second-hand as a smart and practical consumption choice.
Spain among the seven launch markets
The series will air in the UK, France, Germany and Spain on Prime Video, while the Netherlands will broadcast the format on RTL 4, Poland on TVN Style and Italy on Warner Bros. Discovery’s Real Time.
Each market will feature a local host:
Spain: Juan Avellaneda, designer and TV personality.
UK: Motsi Mabuse, TV personality with a career in dance and broadcasting.
France: Alexandre Cressiot, cleaning and organization expert.
Germany: Riccardo Simonetti, media personality, author and television host.
Italy: Lodovica Comello, television presenter.
Netherlands: Chimène van Oosterhout, television presenter and mindset coach.
Poland: Agnieszka Witkowska, home organization expert.
The localization strategy was developed in partnership with Adapt, a next-generation AI localization provider. Its platform combines AI models for translation, voice generation and visual lip-syncing, supported by trained linguists and audio experts who adapt the content for each market.
The approach is designed to accelerate the production of local versions while preserving the authenticity of the original performances.
Banijay expands its branded entertainment strategy
According to Ross Brandon, Co-Founder of Electric Robin, Live Better for Less represents a new model for integrated brand storytelling, combining premium entertainment with a scalable approach to international production and distribution.
Andrew Smith, Senior Brand Director at Vinted, highlighted the growing relevance of finding value in items consumers already own. According to the company, €10.8 billion went directly back into Vinted members’ pockets through sales on the platform in 2025.
Sam Grindey, Director, Sports and Entertainment at WPP Media, said the project was designed from the outset to combine entertainment with the brand’s objectives, bringing together media, production and local market expertise to create a format that can scale internationally while remaining locally relevant.
Meanwhile, Justin Beaudin, CEO of Adapt, emphasized the role of AI as a localization tool that, when combined with experienced professionals, can help preserve original voices and performances while making each version feel authentic to its local audience.
