With the news that it’s now managing its own rights in the US, TV Azteca Internacional is focusing on distribution in 2023, with the aim of reaching more people and more platforms.

TV Azteca Internacional shared its great news a few days before the start of Content Americas 2023: as of January 1, the distributor took exclusive control of the distribution rights of its content for the US.

“We are making a sales strategy that aims to reach more countries and more people,” said Adrián Ortega, Adrián Ortega, general director of content for TV Azteca, in dialogue with ttvnews during the event in Miami.

The entire focus this year is on distribution: “generating content that works in Mexico but that travels around the world,” added the executive. “We are looking to align all windows and all platforms. It is a reorganization of the window and a restructuring that generates greater reach and better partners in the business”.

In terms of content, the distributor arrived in Miami with new seasons of La lotería del crimen, Lo que callamos las mujeres and Un día para vivir.

At the same time, Ortega highlighted the success that TV Azteca has found in co-productions with partners such as Sony, in Escape perfecto, and Acun Medya, in Exatlón, anticipating that the partnership with the Turkish company will lead to another title:Amor en el aire.

“We are looking for the best partners to co-produce quality content,” Ortega stressed. “Strong partners, generate alliances and interesting formats for distribution worldwide”.
