La Television Critics Association de EEUU publicó las nominadas a sus premios anuales de TV.
La Television Critics Association de EEUU anunció en las últimas horas las nomiaciones a los TCA Awards, que premian lo mejor de la última temporada televisiva según los críticos de EEUU.
Y para su edición 2020, las grandes favoritas son Watchmen de HBO y Unbelievable de Netflix, que lideraron las nomiaciones con cuatro cada una.
Ambas, además, compiten en la principal categoría de los premios, «Programa del año», junto a Better Call Saul (AMC), Mrs. America (FX on Hulu), Schitt’s Creek (Pop TV) y Succession (HBO).
Por pantallas, en tanto, HBO fue la más nominada por segundo año consecutivo con 16 nominaciones. Netflix le siguió con 10 y FX completó el podio con siete.
El resto de las nominaciones se las llevaron Hulu (6), PBS/PBS Kids (6), NBC (5), AMC (3), Pop (3), CBS/CBS All Access (2), Disney+ (2), ABC (1), Apple TV+ (1), Bravo (1), Comedy Central (1), ESPN (1), MSNBC (1) y TBS (1).
Entre las principales categorías destacaron en Miniseries a Little Fires Everywhere (Hulu), Mrs. America (FX on Hulu), Normal People (Hulu), The Plot Against America (HBO), Unbelievable (Netflix) y Watchmen (HBO).
En drama, en tanto, las mejores series para la crítica fueron Better Call Saul (AMC), The Crown (Netflix), Euphoria (HBO), The Good Fight (CBS All Access), Pose (FX) y Succession (HBO).
En comedia las elegidas fueron Better Things (FX), Dead to Me (Netflix), The Good Place (NBC), Insecure (HBO), Schitt’s Creek (Pop TV) y What We Do in the Shadows (FX).
