Alejandro Samanes, new Head of Mediapro Peru

With the aim of turning the division into an important audiovisual production center, Alejandro Samanes Prat has joined the Mediapro Group as head of Mediapro Peru.

The Mediapro Group is welcoming Alejandro Samanes, who had been serving as CEO of Secuoya for Latin America.

As detailed, Samanes is joining the company as head of Mediapro Peru, a country they seek to consolidate as a go-to audiovisual production center in the region.

With extensive experience in the audiovisual sector, in addition to his time at Secuoya in Latin America, Samanes directed the Autonomous Television of Murcia, was founder and CEO of Trece (13 TV) and general director of the Nacional Popular TV network.

Peru was recently elected Host Broadcaster of the XVIII edition of the Pan American Games and the VI edition of the Lima 2019 Parapan American Games, the largest sports competition in the American continent.

More than 750 professionals from all over the Mediapro Group ensured the transmission of all sports competitions in 24 venues, with more than 1,000 live hours served to 33 operators with coverage in 41 countries.

In addition to Peru, Mediapro is very present in the American continent through its centers in Argentina, Colombia, Bolivia, Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Uruguay, Cuba, the United States and Canada.
